We’re in the thick of filming and I can tell you this is going to be an extraordinary drama! It’s such a privilege to be working with Steve McQueen as we work with exceptional primarily black British talent. Spending lots of time with them all, honing their dialects is paying off. These stories will finally have a wider reach.
We had our meet and greet on Monday 18 March 2019. What a joy it is to be in the room with an amazing group of artists!
After the read through and set reveal, let me say if you’re planning to see this play book your ticket now! This production is going to be incredible!

It’s a rarity the voice and dialect coach gets recognition in a review. But this time it has happened!
Have a read of Demetrios Matheou’s review in the Hollywood Reporter
Thank you Demetrios!

Travel has been a bit back and forth lately, working with the brilliant Don Warrington and the rest of the cast for Death of a Salesman in Manchester and the wonderful Mark Gatiss and the cast of The Madness of George III in Nottingham.
Death of a Salesman - Royal Exchange Theatre (11 October - 17 November 2018)
Madness of George III - Nottingham Playhouse (2-24 November 2018)
My work on this production has encompassed voice and dialect and singing. The cast and creative team have been wonderful. Here’s to a great run!
Bridge Theatre, London

It's been a non-stop few months simultaneously working across several very different productions:
Little Shop of Horrors - Regents Park Open Air Theatre
Pericles - National Theatre
Foxfinder - Ambassadors Theatre
Poet in da Corner. - Royal Court Theatre
Little Shop is such a brilliant and outrageously fun production the cast have been fantastic to work with. I've been moved to tears watching the community groups confidently perform in Pericles. The actors of Foxfinder are woking wonderfully hard with the exercises I'm 'throwing' at them! And I'm finding a new way of working with spoken-word performers for Poet in da Corner.
There are times when I don't work on an entire production, but with individuals and working with Eric Kofi Abrefa, having one on one time exploring the Ghanaian dialect has been brilliant.
Julie, National Theatre, London

Thrilled to be working on such an inspiring female driven story.
Just one month until opening night!
Performances begin 21 March 2018
I couldn't be more proud to have been asked to be Assistant Director and dialect coach on this fantastic production. The cast and creative is fire! I can't wait to join everyone again for the next phase of this journey.

I am delighted to have joined the voice team for Matilda. I've already got stuck in and it's fantastic to be associated with such an outstanding production.

I'm having a great time standing in as voice coach on Aladdin! The fun and enthusiastic cast have made stepping in a great pleasure.

I will be hosting two workshops which will help kickstart (or remember) your understanding of the fundamentals of voice. How it is supported by efficient breath use and how you can learn to rely on your voice through simple, daily techniques and exercises to grow your voice.
Over 3 hours we will playfully challenge your voice: using breath, music and your imagination.
Bring an open heart, water and loose clothing.

It has been very difficult to keep this under wraps, but now I am delighted to confirm that I will be Resident Director on the forthcoming UK premier of Dreamgirls!
I am honoured to have been invited to join the Sonia Friedman Productions family and to work with such a talented cast and crew.
Directed and coreographed by Tony and Olivier ward winning Casey Nicholaw, Dreamgirls opens at the Savoy Theatre, London, November 2016.
Two actors who have given it their all, along with a creative team who I would not hesitate to work with again!
Try and get tickets if you can (although it is proving quite tricky) This is a very special production indeed.
